How to shield tokens / Make them confidential?

To Shield tokens in order to make confidential transactions on the blockchain: navigate to the “Wallet” section in the side-bar, click the “Shield” button of any tokens of which you have a positive balance.

On the “Shield” pop-up you can input the amount of tokens that you want to hide and click on confirm to move on to the two step process.

Firstly, you will need to approve the funds that you want to confidentialize. Click on Approve Funds and open your wallet interface.

An approval transaction will appear on your wallet interface. Click on Confirm to approve.

Now that you have given approval for a certain amount of tokens to be confidentialized, click on Hide Tokens and open your wallet interface to confirm the transaction.

Confirm the transaction to confidentialize your tokens.

‍

The process is now finished. Click on "Go to My Wallet".

After a few seconds (up to a minute) your "Shield" transaction and it's amount will appear in the Transaction History table.
