How to create a payable invoice?
With Zaiffer’s invoicing features you can create invoices which will automatically generate a payment link and an invoice PDF to be downloaded by your client.
To create an invoice navigate to the Payments section of the menu and click on “Create an invoice”. If it is the first time you are creating an invoice or if you haven’t created your own “My_Company_Contact” in your address book you will need to fill in all the information required on the page.

Once you have filled in all the information you can click on “NEXT” which will save this as your main contact and will be pre-filled next time you create an invoice.

The second step is to choose the client who will be receiving the invoice. You can either create a new contact or choose one from the list of Company Contacts from your address book and click on “Select”.

The third and final step in creating your invoice will be to fill in the content of it. Invoice name, payable currency, due date, items and their prices. You can click on the “+” icon to add as many items as you need.
You can save the invoice as a draft by clicking on “Save as draft” under the “NEXT” button.

To view an invoice that you have previously saved as a draft simply navigate to “Manage invoices” where you will see a list of all of your invoices and the following filters: All, Draft, Pending, Paid, Cancelled.
Once you have found your desired draft you can click on the pen icon to edit your draft.

Edit or add any information on your draft and click on “NEXT” to see the final confirmation page.

You are now viewing the final confirmation page which displays all the information regarding your company who is invoicing (issuer) and your client’s company who will receive the invoice and make the payment (client) as well as all the details regarding what you are selling and for how much.
Make sure the total amount is correct and click on “CONFIRM” to create the invoice.

You are now greeted with a success pop-up from which you can copy the payment link associated with the invoice (don’t worry you will be able to find it later in “Manage Invoices”).
Click on Manage Invoices to be redirected to the Manage invoices page.

Your invoice is now “Pending”. In the status of the invoice you will see a count down to the due date. If you click on the three dots on the right side of the line corresponding to the invoice it will open a side-bar with all the information relative to your invoice.

For the purpose of this tutorial we will only be exploring the download invoice and invoice payment link buttons. For more information regarding associating transactions to invoices and marking them as paid please refer to the “Manage Invoices” tutorial.
When you click on “Download Invoice” it will open the invoice in a PDF format in a new tab in your browser which you can download.
When you click on “Invoice Payment Link” it will copy a link which you can paste either in your browser or in the email that you will send to your client regarding the invoice. With the invoice link your client will be able to pay your invoice’s total amount with encrypted tokens. To know more about payment via payment links please refer to the “Payment Link” tutorials.
